Hello! I thought it was about time I created a blog, as I'm a uni student just plodding through at the moment... I need something new to motivate me and give me some experience! So...hello blogging!
  
   I used to blog at college for my Media Studies course, which involved me updating my teacher on my work through casual blogs, videos and visuals, which I did enjoy! However, I didn't have a huge amount of freedom to explore my thoughts, as it was strictly for school work.
I'll probably mostly blog about films, what's on TV/media and fashion and whatnot, as these are my personal interests but are also what I would enjoy exploring when I am older (career-wise). I am very unsure what I want to do with my life right now...there is a lot of pressure to even get a part-time job for my 20-year self, let alone choose what I want to do for a career, get involved and successful at it, and - moreover! - stick at it !! But blogging is a start...I guess! ...
 
   I have just had a week off with uni for Cultural Exchanges week, which involved lecturers and talkers coming into uni - for and from a wide range of subjects - and giving talks on their choice of study. Whilst I did not attend any of these talks (naughty!) they were of little interest to me - at glance at the timetable, they were experts of English, Dance, Theatre, etc... and nothing in relation to my chosen study; Film and Media & Communication. Therefore, after a rush of last minute hand-ins and deadlines for the week last, last week was a week of rest for me (a week of slobbing was just needed when I felt poorly too - have had my cough for two months now!)
 
   However, I feel it is now time to try to stand out, get some experience on my CV, and attempt to grow up (a bit :P)... I turned 20 a few weeks ago, and this morning I had to enroll and choose my modules for next year - MY FINAL YEAR - at uni, so stuff is happening fast!! Therefore, after enrolling, I have applied for a placement with Frontrunners, as well as starting this blog!
 
   I am taking gradual steps to motivate and do something with myself...let's see how this goes! :)
